About Candice

I believe the two greatest levers for transformation are learning and community. This belief has shaped my career and my life's work.

I'm the Co-Founder and Co-CEO of Disco, a purpose-built platform for AI-powered, cohort-based learning. Before that, I helped scale Wattpad to 120 million users and a $1B acquisition. I'm also a Venture Partner at Lobby Capital, a $250M Series A fund in Silicon Valley, where I back ambitious founders.

I speak globally on AI and human potential, write for Fast Company and Forbes, and host Gamechanger — a community and podcast for leaders navigating change featuring Margaret Atwood, Adam Grant, Seth Godin, Roger Martin, and others. I've served on the boards of DreamBox Learning and Coveo, and advise XPRIZE and Shift Canada.

I immigrated from South Africa to Canada at 14. I'm married and raising two teenage sons who remind me daily why the future is worth building.
